Thankful Thursday 6 April 2023

Wow, the first Thursday in April! It’s hard to believe how quickly this year is going by. Passover started last night and goes to next Thursday evening. Ramadan is for another few weeks and Easter is this Sunday. I’m sure there are tons of other holidays being celebrated too.

I’m thankful for the fun and joy that David and I experienced on our trip to Brighton Beach/Coney Island. I had a thyroid related accident on the boardwalk and he took care of me. I’m beyond grateful for that one. He was grateful for me for surprising him with this trip and treating to delicious food. Tomorrow morning I may make a post; if not, after Passover.

Today was super warm, 80 degrees F. It’s too warm for April, but David picked me up, treated me to a Passover safe lunch at a Mexican restaurant and we went to Frosty Falls. Work had snap bracelets, so I took one and gave it to David as a promise bracelet that he turned into a ring. We both laughed. We both made promises to each other. I’m beyond grateful for David.

I’m also grateful for friends and family. What are you grateful for today?

  1. Hi, Jessica Marie!

I was thinking about you guys up at BB/CI. I’m very happy to learn that David was pleasantly surprised by the trip and that you had a great time. As someone who cares about you, it stands to reason that he was there to assist when you had a medical emergency on the b-walk.

Thanks for posting more pics of the happy power couple. Have a wonderful Easter, dear friend JM!
