End of February: Preparing for March’s Display at the Library

Starting tomorrow, my scrapbooks and photography will grace the display case for March. I decided to look up the history of scrapbooking:

Scrapbooking history has its roots in England. In the 15th century, commonplace books and the friendship album became popular. Letters, poems, recipes, scrapbook quotes and similar items were kept in the commonplace books. Friendship albums were typically used when company was invited to a home.

Google pulled up this site: https://www.scrapbookingcoach.com/the-uncut-history-of-scrapbooking-in-under-5-minutes/#:~:text=Scrapbooking%20history%20has%20its%20roots,was%20invited%20to%20a%20home.

I’m going to include this with my display. I’ll take photos.
