Lucy Loves Me

Lucy was his mom’s cat. She warmed up to me rather quickly and I now have a new friend. Glad David has his phone AND I’m so glad he remembered that I wanted a photo or two the next time Lucy warmed up to me. I didn’t have my phone on me, but he had his. I’m verklempt. I love him and I’m so grateful for him.

I’m going to make a scrapbook layout too.

  1. Hi, Jessica Marie!

Those are great and tender moments captured by David’s phone. His mom’s kitty Lucy is a sleek and beautiful animal. Our cat, Boots aka Bootsie-Wootsie, was a stray that hung around our house for years before we invited him inside to live with us three years ago. Boots is mostly black, but he has white feet (shoes, boots) and a white chest (vest). Neighbors told us he was originally named Tuxedo for that reason, but I always called him Boots. I’m so glad you can say “I love Lucy, and she loves me right back.” There’s nothing quite like the love of an animal.

Enjoy the rest of your week, dear friend JM!
