Ah, my second concert, post-COVID! I was waiting for this show for the past month.
Back in mid-August I bought a Halloween set from Torrid and realized it was a corset. I decided to debut it for the concert. I went to Buffalo Exchange for a white blouse to put over me, but had the rest of the outfit showing. Everyone loved it on the streets and at the show. I got a lot of “yas, girl”s and other compliments. I sent the same photos to David and yeah, he loved them. He wished he could have been there with me. Next time.

After my photo shoot and before I went to dinner, I met a teenager and her puppet. She let me take a photo and a selfie. Tucker was the puppet’s name

The Brooklyn Bowl was a nice venue. I would definitely go to another show there. KMFDM was amazing and I stood next to a few kind people. I liked chatting with Hailey and Lisa.

Chant was an awesome opening band and I ended up buying their album.
KMFDM rocked. I loved bouncing and headbanging and singing along. They played several of the songs that I loved in middle and high schools, then they played many of their newer songs. I bought their two new CDs and can’t wait to listen to them tomorrow (I left my CD player at work).
After the show, I asked the one photographer if I could have one of the set lists. He gave me one. Huzzah! So thankful. As I was walking out, I met Alyssa and her husband, Dan. They were celebrating their 13th anniversary. Alyssa thought it was so cool I was able to get a set list and she took a photo of me with it. That started a conversation and the beginning of a friendship.
We made our way outside and Lucia was standing right in front of me. I love Lucia and I’m so glad I got to meet her! Alyssa got the photos with Lucia, but she didn’t capture the photo of when Lucia hugged me and then stood next to me. That’s okay, hugging and talking to Lucia won’t be something I forget. This was so pure and awesome.I also met Andy. It was fun chatting with him about music, shoes, and my Happiness Box Project. He thought that project sounded awesome. Alyssa and Dan waited with me until Uber picked me up. I let them and David know when I arrived home (safely). What a wonderful evening!

A total Happiness Box moment. I wrote all about this and put the signed set list into the Box. Can’t wait to see them again!
Hi, Jessica Marie!
Look at your bad self, girl! You were a show stopper as you went to the B-B venue to experience the sound of that German industrial band. I wish I had been there! Looks like you met many nice people including an anniversary couple who kindly made sure you got off safely in the Uber after the show. I’m sure David wishes he were there too and it was nice to notify him that you made it home safely. I love Tucker the puppet and wish that I could raise him as my own. You collected many HBP-worthy pictures of the fun-filled outing!
