The Joy of Photography and Scrapbooking

Prompt: What’s something that will always be in fashion, no matter how much time passes? It doesn’t have to be thing. It can be whatever you wish.

I can name two things that will always be in fashion, no matter how much time passes. While one of the things is still popular, another thing isn’t quite as much, or it’s popular among those of a certain age. Photography is still in, as everyone is a photographer nowadays with their smart phones. Photography is a great way to capture moments.

While scrapbooking has fallen out of favour a bit, I think memory keeping will always be in fashion. It could be scrapbooks, photo albums, or digital albums, we’re all sentimental and this is a great way to share our histories.

I take photos of a lot of things. I love memory keeping, what can I say? It annoys some people, but most seem grateful that I take photos. Someone I used to work with at the library, who retired during COVID-19, e-mailed me asking for photos from the 2019 Valentine’s Day party. This was the last library party before the pandemic and this was the last party with Mrs. Davenport. My former co-worker misplaced the photos I sent to everyone three years ago and she wanted them again, to remember Mrs. Davenport. I’m so glad I could help and I’m so glad that I captured these moments. *Heart*
