Taking a Break from Happiness Box 2021’s Scrapbook

I’ll be honest, I haven’t felt motivated to scrapbook Happiness Box 2021, I’ve felt more motivated to scrapbook the different things Tommy and I have done together so far. I’ve decided to make separate albums for special events because in the past, my Happiness Box scrapbooks exploded.

While 2021 was a good year in the second half, there are some bittersweet moments from then. They’re nice to read, but right now I just don’t feel like scrapbooking them. I will in due time, and the pages will probably look bland. I don’t want to go all out with decorating, I want to save that for individual albums.

I’ve had a lot of wonderful moments with Tommy and right now scrapping those moments are my joy. Don’t worry, I’m still writing Happiness Box 2022, but the scrapping of Happiness Box 2021 is on the backburner for now.

Here’s one album I finished.

Before I finished this album, I compiled a Sn@p album of our first Valentine’s Day together. A Sn@p album is a combination between a scrapbook album and photo album. They’re fun.

Next up: a sn@p album about our Brigantine/Atlantic City weekend trip from 25 and 26 March 2022.

I still count these as Happiness scrapbooks! 🙂 Maybe it’s not a break at all.

  1. Hi, Jessica Marie!

Yessum, I agree with what you’re doing. Spend your time doing whatever brings you joy. That’s a wise decision on your part. The way this world’s going, joy is becoming a scarce commodity, and so, when you find someone or something that gives you joy, I say go for it. You are in charge of allocating blocks of time to various projects. Clearly Tommy is your muse, and it makes perfect sense for you to let your joy manifest itself in these lovely layouts. I clicked to enlarge and they are wonderful. I’ve never known anyone who documents their activities in such an artistic fashion. It was fun tracing the Kodak moments of your relationship with Tommy from its inception last fall through the winter holidays and V-Day. Soon you will have a massive collection of highlights from the warm weather months. Before you know it, your one year anniversary will roll around. And so it goes. Enjoy every minute of it, dear friend JM!!
