Be loud and be proud! Yas, it’s Pride month, y’all! I’m thankful I work at two jobs that are inclusive to everyone. My full-time job had the flag raising ceremony today at lunch. I was thankful that Sean let me get a selfie with him and post the photos. I also met some awesome people today too. The weather held, which is another thing to be grateful for.

I’m grateful that a co-worker covered for me for 25 minutes. Next time she needs help, I’ll be the first one to volunteer as tribute.
Tommy and I are spending this weekend together and he agreed to do Pride events with me. I’m ace, but Tommy is my person and I feel a connection with him to compromise. I don’t feel it with anyone else. I have my ace flag, shirt, and sunglasses ready. I’m going to bring the rainbow flag for Tommy. They’re having the parade on Sunday, for the first time in three years! Super excited. I’m just super excited to spend time with the love of my life.
I’m also thankful for friends, library co-workers, and family. What are you grateful for today?
Hi, Jessica Marie!
It hardly seems possible that Pride Month has rolled around again. It makes me happy to see you joining in for the launch of this month’s festivities. You captured some excellent images of happy people who, along with you, are part of the solution. I’m delighted to know that Tommy will be joining you as you take part in Pride events beginning this weekend. I hope the weather continues to hold for the parade on Sunday.
I also hope the two of you get to dig into the abundance of great TV series and movies available on Netflix. It’s a wonderland of entertainment – The Flash, Supergirl, Legends of Tomorrow, and I highly recommend Dirty John seasons 1 & 2 – both seasons exceptionally well done – and my top favorite must see show of all time – Ozark!
Happy Thankful Thursday to you, dear friend JM. Have a safe and happy weekend filled with Pride!
