The last Thursday in July, can you believe it? There’s only 5 more months left of the year. We’re in a tornado warning right now, so this will be brief.
I’m thankful for everything today. Friends, family, doctors, co-workers, just life in general. It’s been a great week and what more can I ask for?

I hope you were spared the wrath of the tornado, dear friend. I read about strong storms with derechos sweeping across the country. Stay safe up there!
You’ve been counting off the weeks and months all year long, JM. Wait until you are my age. Mrs. Shady and I were just exclaiming how fast the year is going. I guess with new COVID restrictions being put in place, reversing the opening-up process we enjoyed for only a few weeks this year, the old saying will need to be changed to: “Time flies when you’re not having fun.” 🙂 But seriously, you can still get out there and have fun if you remain vigilant and keep your mask on. Keep in mind that even vaccinated people can experience a breakthrough of the variant form of the virus and become ill and transmit it to others.
Have fun skating tonight, dear friend JM, and count your blessings. I’m counting mine, which includes our friendship. Have a safe and happy weekend!
