I didn’t realize it, but today is Best Friend Day. Thanks to Kermit and Fozzie, I was set right this morning!
Most of us choose our friends based on similar interests and hobbies. However, some of these friends don’t turn into best friends. Why? How come our best friends become our best friends? They tend to be by our sides through thick and thin. We can count on our besties and they can count on us.
I’m grateful for my best friends and I’m sure all of you are too! I am thankful for Christina, Anna, Chris, James, Mary, and people that are slowly but surely becoming friends in the groups I’ve joined.

I enjoyed learning about Best Friend Day, and it was nice of you to make mention of your besties Christina, Anna, Chris, James and Mary along with new friends who keep entering the picture thanks to your many and varied interests.
I enjoyed the “Friendship Song” with lyrics that include: “we stand shoulder to shoulder, we stand side to side.” That’s powerful! The song from Friends has to be one of the most instantly recognizable of all TV themes. Another is “I Know, You Know,” the theme from Psych performed by The Friendly Indians. The “Best Friend” song by Sofi Tukker (the EDM duo of Sophie Hawley-Weld and Tucker Halpern) is dope.
