WHAT?! It’s halfway through the month of April already? Wow! Today would have been tax day in the US, but it has been extended for another month. I already filed, but I’m grateful that the US is giving that extension to those who need it.
My parents arrived home safely from their trip. I’m grateful for that. I am grateful for everyone in my life.

Yessum, the month and the year are Zooming by. Yessum, we have much for which to be thankful, including the tax deadline extension, your folks returning home safely, our health, the COVID vaccines, freedom of religion, voting rights for all eligible Americans, widespread agreement that Black Lives Matter, and a Democratic administration in Washington that is taking massive action to get our country back on track after four years of tyranny, corruption and golfing.
On the home front, we bought a cage, caught a raccoon that was eating the crops in our garden, drove it to a wooded area miles away and released it safely and humanely .
