Happy Thankful Thursday, dear readers!
It’s the post-Passover glow and for many of you, the post-Easter glow too! It’s been a great week and today J Proud sent me an e-mail thanking me for attending the Stonewall Seder. The leader of the group said she was looking through all of our participation from the Seder and it left her in tears, verklempt. I responded, “I’m on the same page.” It made me feel verklempt and I’m so thankful for J Proud. I’m thankful for my community in general.
I’m also thankful for friends and family. What are you thankful for?
Hi, Jessica Marie!
Happy Thankful Thursday, dear friend! Now you have me all verklempt too. It truly is a blessing anytime you can write the sentence: “It’s been a great week,” because you and I both know it doesn’t happen very often. It makes me happy that you are basking in the afterglow of Passover, that J Proud sent an email acknowledging you for attending the Stonewall Seder, and that your group leader was overcome with emotion when she reviewed the participation. You have surely found a home, a family and a community to add the the existing love of family and friends. Your cup runneth over.
Thanks for sharing the good news and enjoy the rest of your week, dear friend JM!
