From March-September 2020, Barra Rossa remained closed for COVID-19. They came back when Philadelphia said 25% can eat indoors. However, they closed again in November when the moratorium on indoor dining happened again.
They re-opened a few weeks ago! On Saturday, towards the end of Shabbat, I enjoyed a delicious GF pasta dinner.

Last September on our trip to North Carolina, Mrs. Shady and I dined indoors at a restaurant in Asheville. The place had every other table roped off, providing adequate social distancing for customers, and the server wore a mask. It was the last time we dined indoors. In the months since we have dined on outdoor porches and patios at several other restaurants. I’m happy to learn that one of your favorite eateries, Barra Rossa, survived the pandemic restrictions and is bouncing back. I’m sure the staff appreciates your support and the publicity you gave them here on your blog. That pasta dish certainly does look yummy!
