I can’t wait to watch my favourite movie and enjoy the delicious cookies. I open Happiness Box 2020 in two weeks and the paper will come in handy, as will the pens!

Hanukkah ends tonight at 4:37 pm. It has been a beautiful eight days. As someone on Reddit’s Judaism board said to me, “May the light from 8 Days of Candles warm the hearts and lives of you and yours forever.”

That is indeed a lovely and colorful greeting card, dear friend! During the Hanukkah observance of 2020, you received many thoughtful gifts and messages of love and encouragement from friends old and new. I wish more people were on board with that kind of thinking. Sadly I know some people who awaken each day with their hearts filled with hate and prepared to do battle with their fellow man. That’s no way to live. When it feels so good to give and receive unconditional love, I can’t understand why most people, indeed all people, don’t adopt the philosophy and put it into daily practice. These eight days of Hanukkah have indeed been beautiful and, I dare say, more meaningful than ever before, because they took place during a year of great challenge and hardship. Keep that light glowing within you throughout 2021.
