It feels so good to be back at the library. Even though it’s 4 hours per week, 2 hours on Tuesdays and 2 hours on Thursdays, I’m so grateful to be back. When I went back on Tuesday, everyone was so happy to see me and I was so happy to see everyone too. It felt odd that Mrs. Davenport was gone, but her spirit is alive and well.
I feel thankful for friends, family and life in general. What are you thankful for?
Hi, Jessica Marie!
Happy TT and Friday, dear friend!
I stayed up late watching Joe Biden’s town hall on ABC and needed to get to bed right after. I’m all verklempt knowing it felt good for you to return to the library and to be among friends again, including your co-workers, the spirit of Mrs. Davenport and all those authors.
I am thankful that VP Biden was given a chance to speak at length uninterrupted so that he could articulate his plans for America. Mr. Biden did an excellent job. His answers to the questions posed by members of the audience were thoughtful and inspiring. He was courteous and respectful to everyone, and he remained at the venue more than an hour after the event ended to answer further questions from the audience. Mr. Biden demonstrated that he is a good and decent man, a man of the people who cares about others, not only himself, someone who will put the good of the country before his own self interests. I hope Mr. Biden’s town hall performance will give him a big bump in the polls.
Have a great Friday and weekend, dear friend JM!
