Quickly emerging
from two weeks in snug casing
Ah, sweet freedom, ah!
Let the wind take me,
let it guide my brand new wings,
I can see the sun!
One of the monarchs emerged today! We have two that are still in the chrysalis and we’re predicting by the weekend, they will be monarchs. I’m hoping mom finds more caterpillars and we can raise Monarchs again. I love doing this each year, but it’s brought meaning during the quarantine. I took the one in the cage, but mom sent me the others. I had to get back to work before he flew away.
