Thankful Thursday 13 December 2018

I’m blessed and happy! I’m in the process of becoming healthy and wealthy, though wealth is coming slower than I originally thought. I went to the doctor’s last week and being diagnosed as gluten sensitive and following the gluten-free diet has improved my health. My liver is almost back to normal and he thinks once I follow the diet continuously, I will be good to go. Especially losing weight. Other parts of my health improved too. I don’t think it’s only the diet that helped, I think spending time with friends and family this year helped too. I plan on doing that again in 2019.

I’m blessed for my friends and I’m blessed to have the co-workers I have at both jobs. Kathleen surprised me with a gift that I won’t open until the 25th. Then the RTI Santa Claus also surprised me with a can of popcorn yesterday! One of my library coworkers gave me a bunch of gluten-free snacks.

What are you thankful for today?

  1. Hi, Jessica Marie!

That is wonderful news about your health, dear friend! Your health has to come first, needs to be your top priority, and your liver test shows you are on the right track. You can be thankful it is so easy for you to find gluten-free foods nowadays. I am happy to know other aspects of your health have also improved.

You have wonderful, thoughtful co-workers who showed they care by surprising you with gifts. Even Santa got in on the act by giving you an early present.

Enjoy your Friday and have a safe and happy weekend, dear friend JM!
