Thankful Thursday 15 November 2018

Winter has visited the Greater Philadelphia Area a month early! While the weather people were predicting a wintry mix, they weren’t predicting more than an inch of snow. I say we have about 2 inches out there now! We received the Pocono’s weather, where they received ours. I am grateful I made it home safely, Lyft wasn’t expensive to get home in, and that my manager at the library said I could take today off. Hopefully, it’ll be clear to get to my full-time job tomorrow morning, but I am just grateful we are all safe.

I know it’s been a few days since I last posted and I’ve been busy finishing up a book for the book discussion group on Sunday. I finished Anna Quindlen’s Miller’s Valley last night and I would recommend the book. I have been involved with the book group for 11 years and despite budget cuts, I am grateful these discussions take place twice a year, every year.

What are you thankful for?
