Saturday Afternoon With Marsha

Today I met up with Marsha at the King of Prussia Mall. We had a nice lunch at Bonefish Grill. As we sat down to eat, she handed me a silver bag. I was surprised and as I was beginning to open the bag, Marsha handed me tea for the Keurig. I had a beautiful teacup and saucer – it was a pleasant surprise! Marsha and I had a delicious seafood meal and caught up, sharing laughs.
After lunch, we went to the Rock Shop and browsed for an hour. I picked up Mac Miller, in honour of his death, and I picked up Marilyn Manson as well. Marsha bought the Beatles.
We walked around the mall for a bit, chatted about music and shopping, then ran into Ronald. I introduced the two, we sat together and chatted with Ronald.
I am thankful for Marsha’s friendship. It was such a nice afternoon.

  1. Hi, Jessica Marie!

“Marsha Marsha Marsha!” 🙂 I am happy to see pictures of you and your old friend enjoying a visit to the King of Prussia Mall. It was sweet of Marsha to surprise you with a gift of a new teacup and saucer. You seem to bring out the thoughtfulness in people!

Not everyone can boast that they picked up Marilyn Manson! 🙂 I love his (the band’s) music as much as I love The Beatles and that’s saying a lot. I’m glad you enjoyed a nice seafood meal and hooked up with Ronald for a chat. More memories for your Verklempt Box.

I notice that my previous comment has not yet been published, Jessica. Please check your Awaiting Moderation bin. Here’s the problem I’ve been having. Since moving to my new Shady’s Place site, I have encountered difficulty getting my comments published on the blogs of some of my friends, requiring me to log off, and log on to my old site and comment from there. That is where I was when I attempted to submit my comment on your previous post. The comment disappeared and the message read: “awaiting moderation.” Please remember to be on the lookout for missing comments in that folder.

Thank you, dear friend JM, and have a terrific week!

  2. Hi Shady,

Approved it – I noticed in the past that your comments automatically posted and I just assumed it was the case. As you continue to comment, I will make sure that I pay attention to the e-mail (the e-mail tells me to either approve the comment or it has already been approved).

Yesterday was just amazing. Her birthday is 12 October, but I think I will frame one of the Polaroid photos we took together for the holidays. I might get her a gift card to the Rock Shop and I think I might throw a holiday party for my few friends here… to cut back on shipping costs (I have a few packages I need to send overseas).

I listen to everything and I guess it shows in my selection. 🙂 My only criticism about the Rock Shop is that they didn’t have a classical music section. 😦

    Have a great Sunday!
