All I can say is that I’m thankful that this year they had gluten-free options for the bug treats. I could still eat most insects – they had nacho chips made with ground cricket flour and it was amazing with the mealworm salsa. Instead of Chef Zach from Louisiana, the Academy had local candy makers make us bug desserts, that were naturally gluten-free as well.
Bug Fest was super fun and I am glad I am a member of the Academy of Natural Sciences.
Hi, Jessica Marie!
Yummy yummy yummy, I got bugs in my tummy! 🙂 Time flies (flies, get it?) and I can’t believe it is already time again for one of the most anticipated events on your social calendar, the annual Bug Fest. I remember you showing highlights of your visits in years past. Lucky for you they offered gluten-free bug choices and even gluten-free bug desserts. Looks like the person hugging you in that first picture ate to many dragonflies. 🙂 I’m glad you enjoyed the Bug Fest, further proof of your adventurous nature.
Enjoy the rest of your week, dear friend JM!
