Thankful Thursday 7 June 2018

Happy first week in June! I can’t believe we are half-way through 2018, the year is flying by again!

I am thankful that so far we have been experiencing cooler weather this summer. While the weatherpeople messed up the forecast last week, predicting rain and it not happening, I am glad that the cooler weather makes it more bearable to skate. I didn’t skate last weekend, but I will skate tomorrow. I hope the rain holds off on Sunday. I am thankful I can get one day in per week.

I am also thankful for friends and family. What are you thankful for?

  1. Hi, Jessica Marie!

You are indeed lucky that the weather has remained cooler than normal up there. In the last week our weather has turned uncomfortably warm and sticky. This will be our plight for the next six months. We went from drought to too much rain and it ruined most of the crops Mrs. Shady was growing in her garden. I hope the weatherman cooperates and gives you a nice day for skating.

I am thankful for every new day because it gives me a clean slate and another opportunity to make something good happen. Have a wonderful weekend, dear friend JM!

    1. Hi Shady,

I went skating last night and it was perfect weather. 🙂 Hopefully, it stays like that for the majority of the summer.

Lately, I’ve been grateful about the same thing: each day is a clean slate and it is an opportunity to make something good happen. I might use this as a prompt for later.

Have a wonderful weekend yourself, dear friend!
